General information

What time are check - in and check - out?

The rooms will be available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival until 11:00 AM on the day of departure. If you wish to make the most of your stay, it is possible to add, subject to availability and for a small supplement, an “early check-in” or “late check-out” service.

What are the reception hours?

The reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service is therefore always available, both day and night, to ensure continuous assistance to guests for check-in, check-out, and any needs during their stay.

What languages are spoken at the reception?

The reception speaks several languages, mainly French and English, in order to welcome and assist international guests in the best possible way and ensure clear and smooth communication in every situation.

Where is the property and how can I/we reach it?

The Duca d’Aosta Hotel is located at Via Ribitel 8, in the center of Aosta, a short distance from Piazza Narbonne and the main pedestrian areas of the city. To reach the hotel by car, once you exit the A5 motorway at Aosta Est toll station, you should follow the signs to the city center.

It is important to note that the hotel is located in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). However, our guests are allowed to arrive by car or bus directly in front of the hotel for the time necessary to load and unload luggage.

Access is possible via two routes:
The first route is to take Via Torino, continue onto Via Festaz, and turn right into Via Arcidiacono Ribitel, where the hotel is located at the end of the street on the left.

The second route is to take Via Festaz, turn left into Piazza Plouves, continue onto Via Promis, and then turn right into Via Ribitel, with the hotel located shortly after on the left.

In both cases, once you reach the historic center, the property is easy to find and well connected to the main streets of the city.

Is parking available at the property?

The Duca d’Aosta Hotel offers a covered parking area dedicated to guests, located in front of the hotel. The garage is external to the main building but easily accessible. The service is available for a supplement of €16 per car per day. Spaces are limited, therefore, advance reservation is recommended to ensure availability.

Is there public parking available near the hotel?

In the immediate vicinity of the Duca d’Aosta Hotel, several public parking options are available, allowing guests to leave their car and easily reach the property on foot. These include Piazza Plouves car park, located in the city centre just a few steps from the hotel, and Carrel car park, an underground parking facility located in the bus station area, close to Aosta train station. This is a covered, convenient, and well-connected option, ideal for those who prefer sheltered parking within close proximity to the city centre. Both options allow guests to park near the hotel and comfortably explore the city centre on foot.

Does the property have an elevator?

The Duca d’Aosta Hotel is equipped with a lift, ensuring convenient and easy access to all floors of the hotel for guests.

Where is the historic district located?

The historic center of Aosta is centered around Piazza Chanoux and the city’s main pedestrian streets. The Duca d’Aosta Hotel is located next to the square and within walking distance of the main historical and cultural attractions.

What accessibility features does the property have?

The Hotel Duca d’Aosta is designed to ensure accessibility for guests with reduced mobility as well. The property features accessible common areas and dedicated solutions to facilitate movement, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Is Wi-Fi available at the property?

The Duca d’Aosta Hotel offers Wi-Fi connection available throughout all areas of the property. Upon arrival, guests are provided with their room key together with the login credentials required to access the network easily and immediately during their stay.

Is your hotel pet-friendly?

Small & medium adult furry friends (max 25 kg) are welcome and may enter the hotel with the exception of the breakfast room.
For the additional room cleaning a EUR 15.00 fee per day per dog (without food) is applied.

Is luggage storage available?

Luggage storage service is available, designed to allow guests to safely leave their belongings before check-in or after check-out. This way, guests can continue exploring the city in complete comfort and without time constraints.

Is a city tax required?

Please note a city tax must be added to the quoted price:
Euro 1.25 per person per night from May 1st to June 15, and from October 1st to November 30.
Euro 2.50 per person per night in all other periods.
Children below 15 years old are exempted.

Breakfast

What time is breakfast served? Where?

Breakfast is served every morning from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM in our elegant Pâtisserie, a welcoming and refined space where guests can start their day in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The buffet is rich and varied, offering a wide selection of sweet and savoury options, from baked specialities and fresh products to lighter and savoury choices, designed to suit every taste and requirement. If breakfast was not included at the time of booking, it can always be added directly at the hotel for a supplement of €16.00 per person per day, with unlimited access to the buffet.

Special rates are available for children: €12.00 per day for children aged 4 to 12, and €6.00 per day for children aged 0 to 3.

Are gluten-free options available?

Breakfast also includes options suitable for gluten free guests. Gluten-free products are available upon request, ensuring a selection that caters to different dietary needs.

What amenities are included in the rooms?

The rooms are equipped with a 43-inch LED TV with multilingual channels, a high-tech Kaldewei bathtub or a walk-in shower with a rain-effect showerhead, a minibar with water, unlimited Wi-Fi/LAN connection, a safe for a 15-inch laptop, independent air conditioning/heating, and an electric kettle with a selection of tea and coffee, ensuring comfort and convenience for both business and leisure stays.

Check-in / Check-out

Can I request early check-in? And late check-out?

Both requests are subject to availability. Early check-in can be confirmed upon request for a small supplement, while late check-out is assessed on-site and, if possible, granted with an additional charge.

Property & Services

Is a transfer service available?

A dedicated shuttle service is not available at the property. However, the location is well served by external transport connections and various alternatives that still allow guests to reach the property easily and move around the area comfortably, using public transport, taxis, or private options. However, it is possible to arrange private transfers by making a request to the hotel.

Are baby cribs and cots available?

Baby cots are available upon request for a supplement. This can be arranged at the time of booking or directly at the hotel.

Is there a charging station for electric cars?

In the immediate vicinity of the property, several electric vehicle charging stations are available, easily accessible and convenient for guests travelling with electric cars.

Are children allowed at the property?

The hotel is pleased to welcome families with children, offering a modern and welcoming environment designed to ensure a comfortable stay even for the youngest guests, allowing the whole family to enjoy a pleasant experience. No dedicated services are provided.

Is there a laundry service? Do you also offer ironing?

The Hotel Duca d’Aosta offers a laundry service available upon request. Alternatively, guests may use the laundry facilities at the OMAMA Hotel, another property of the same hotel group located just a few meters away and easily reachable on foot, where the service is available on a self-service basis.

Is there a gym available at the property?

The Hotel Duca d’Aosta does not have an on-site gym. However, guests may use the gym at the OMAMA Hotel free of charge, located just a few steps away from the property.

Restaurants & Bars

Is there a restaurant at the property?

Our hotel doesn’t have a restaurant service. However its central location provides a wide variety of good options just a few minutes’ walk. Our Front Desk staff will be glad to assist you with suggestions and bookings.

Are gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan options available?

Upon request, products suitable for guests with celiac and other diseases are available, ensuring a safe breakfast tailored to different dietary needs. The staff is available to arrange alternative solutions and ensure attentive, personalized service throughout the stay.

Is there a bar at the property?

The bar service is located within the hotel’s Pâtisserie, a welcoming space where guests can enjoy hot and cold beverages, along with a selection of pastries throughout the day. Upon request, a bar service is also available in the evening, ideal for a moment of relaxation. An aperitif service is also offered, perfect for ending the day in a pleasant and informal atmosphere.

The staff is available to provide support in organizing excursions and local activities, offering personalized advice based on guests’ interests. Thanks to their knowledge of the area, they can suggest experiences, itineraries, and activities to enjoy in Aosta and its surroundings, helping guests discover the Aosta Valley at its best.

To ensure maximum flexibility in payments, the property accepts the main international credit card circuits, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as the most widely used electronic payment systems.

Cancellation terms depend on the selected rate and they are always are communicated both at the time of the offer and at the time of confirmation.
