At Alpissima, we are fully aware that the fight against global warming also lies in the choices we make regarding heating and cooling in our hotels. For this reason, we have taken concrete and immediate actions:

• • We have significantly improved the thermal insulation of our facilities to reduce heat loss and energy consumption.
  Each room is equipped with thermostatic control, allowing for independent temperature regulation, optimizing comfort and energy efficiency. We have chosen AAA-rated air conditioners and minibars, ensuring significant energy savings. An advanced home automation system automatically turns off the electrical power when guests leave the room, while in many common areas, the lights are controlled by motion sensors.
• • Hot water is produced through eco-friendly heat pumps, reducing our environmental impact.
• • In the restaurants, all gas appliances have been replaced with modern induction systems, which are safer and more efficient.
• • All the electricity used in our hotels comes exclusively from "green" sources produced locally.
• • At night, we keep lighting to a minimum in common areas, except for emergency lights, to save energy.
• • We have replaced over 5,500 light bulbs with energy-efficient LEDs, reducing consumption from 40W to just 4W per bulb.
• • All of our printers are configured to print in black and white, double-sided, reducing paper and ink consumption.
• • We avoid the use of harmful chemicals for the environment, opting for more eco-friendly solutions.
• • In our air conditioning and refrigeration systems, we use ozone-friendly gases, maintaining maximum efficiency through regular maintenance.
• • We inform our guests about the use of public transportation, encouraging them to use it, and we offer electric cars and bicycles for short trips, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
• • Most of the cleaning detergents we use are biodegradable, ensuring a lower environmental impact.
• • With these initiatives, we are committed to reducing the ecological footprint of our hotels, actively contributing to environmental protection.

We invite our guests to contribute to water conservation by participating in the towel reuse program, thereby reducing the number of laundry washes. Our hotels are equipped with low-flow toilets and faucets designed to minimize water waste. To optimize water usage, we use showerheads and taps with pressure regulators, avoiding unnecessary waste without compromising comfort.

We are committed to promoting awareness of sustainable development by carefully selecting partners and suppliers who share our ecological and sustainable values.

To reduce the use of single-use plastic in our hotels, we have eliminated plastic toiletry bottles and replaced them with elegant dispensers that offer high-quality, eco-friendly cosmetics sourced locally.

We are aware that the natural beauty of our mountains is a major attraction for our guests, which is why we love to share knowledge and useful information to help them discover and respect the surrounding nature and wildlife.

We encourage the use of eco-friendly transportation by promoting cycling and walking activities directly from the hotel.

We offer our guests rental bicycles and electric cars, along with numerous suggestions for exploring the area sustainably.

We have implemented recycling programs for plastic, paper, and glass in all possible areas, contributing to responsible waste management.

We minimize the use of printed materials, reusing them whenever possible, and recycle all used paper.

Our cooking oil is recycled by a specialized company that filters and reuses it, thus reducing waste.

In our kitchens, we have introduced containers for composting organic waste, contributing to a sustainable disposal cycle.

We have renewed our cleaning processes by eliminating the use of aerosols and introducing eco-sustainable detergents to reduce environmental impact.

We carefully evaluate the environmental impact of our purchases and, whenever possible, rely on local suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint.

When it is not possible to source food locally, we ensure that all products come from Italy, supporting the national supply chain.
